A 4-day visual arts festival, the Culture Crawl is a chance to visit the studios of hundreds of artists practicing in Vancouver’s Eastside: painters, jewelers, sculptors, furniture makers, weavers, potters, printmakers, photographers, glassblowers; from emerging artists to those internationally established.
The Eastside Culture Crawl officially began in 1997 with 45 visual artists in 3 Strathcona area studio buildings - including the building my studio is located in, William Clark Studios! Since that time, the event has grown to include over 450+ artists, crafts people and designers attracting an audience of more than 35,000 studio visits.
This year, I’m one of thirty William Clark Studio artists opening their studios during the Crawl, so much to see under one roof! Come say hello - we’re open on:
- Thursday, November 15, 5 pm - 10 pm
- Friday, November 16, 5 pm - 10 pm
- Saturday, November 17, 11 am - 6 pm
- Sunday, November 18, 11 am - 6 pm
Looking forward to sharing my studio with you over the Crawl weekend as you explore so much of what East Vancouver’s creative community has to offer!
